Dear Mama, It's been two years today since you left us. It seemed like yesterday. Still very strange to not been able to call you, talk to you and I miss our weekly phone calls. Grandma was rare… a kind woman! I am her granddaughter but even I understand/ understood the sacrifices she made for her grandchildren, her children, other people. Not one visit came empty-handed. She understood how to care for us. She spoke gently but firmly and she never hestitated to encourage our strengths when she observed it . She was a true mother , a good Christian, a strong woman. I know she’s in a much better place because her death even though might hurt , has given me some sort of peace knowing she is finally resting and her soul is at peace. Her memories are forever imprinted in my heart and I’d definitely carry it on as long as I live. May her soul Rest In Peace 🤍
